Ingredients
- 1 pineapple supreme cake mix or white cake mix
- 2 (5 1/2 oz.) vanilla instant pudding
- 2 (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
- 4 to 5 bananas, sliced in pineapple juice
- maraschino cherries (optional)
- 1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
- 2 (8 oz.) crushed pineapple
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Prepare cake mix according to directions.
- Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Let cool.
- Crumble 1/2 of cake into bottom of punch bowl.
- Mix one box pudding as directed and pour over cake in bowl.
- Layer 1 can cherries over pudding, next 1 can pineapple (drained).
- Now, cover with bananas, sliced.
- Top with Cool Whip and nuts.
- Repeat layers.
- This makes a very large cake.
