Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple supreme cake mix or white cake mix
  • 2 (5 1/2 oz.) vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
  • 4 to 5 bananas, sliced in pineapple juice
  • maraschino cherries (optional)
  • 1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 2 (8 oz.) crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Prepare cake mix according to directions.
  • Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Let cool.
  • Crumble 1/2 of cake into bottom of punch bowl.
  • Mix one box pudding as directed and pour over cake in bowl.
  • Layer 1 can cherries over pudding, next 1 can pineapple (drained).
  • Now, cover with bananas, sliced.
  • Top with Cool Whip and nuts.
  • Repeat layers.
  • This makes a very large cake.
