Ingredients
- 3 cups berries (raspberries, blackberries, or blueberries)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (for blueberries only)
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- 2/3 cup oats
- 1/3 cup softened margarine
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Method
- Spread berries in square glass dish, 8x8x2-inch.
- Sprinkle with juice.
- Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over berries. Microwave uncovered on high 7-10 minutes or until berries are hot and bubbly.
- Let stand 10 minutes.
- Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
- May be baked in conventional oven 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
- I have also made this with no margarine, and it is good for those on a low-fat diet.
