Ingredients

  • 1 small pumpkin (2 lbs)
  • 1 cup shelled walnuts
  • 13 cup sugar

Method

  • Slice the pumpkin in half and remove the stringy fibers and seeds.
  • Peel and cut the pumpkin into chunks about 1x2 inches.
  • Boil in salted water until tender, about 12-15 minutes.
  • Finely grind the walnuts with the sugar.
