- 1 9-inch pie shell (Deep Dish)
- 1/3 qt. vanilla ice cream
- 3/4 c. canned pumpkin
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. pecans, chopped
- whipped cream for garnish
- pecan halves for garnish
Method
- Bake and cool pie shell.
- Combine ice cream, pumpkin, honey, spices, and salt.
- Blend well and pour into pie shell.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Freeze until serving time.
- To serve garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves.
