Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch pie shell (Deep Dish)
  • 1/3 qt. vanilla ice cream
  • 3/4 c. canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. pecans, chopped
  • whipped cream for garnish
  • pecan halves for garnish

Method

  • Bake and cool pie shell.
  • Combine ice cream, pumpkin, honey, spices, and salt.
  • Blend well and pour into pie shell.
  • Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  • Freeze until serving time.
  • To serve garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves.
