Ingredients
- 1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. pecans
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Method
- Combine and blend well the butter, sugar, flour and salt; add eggs, then corn syrup and milk.
- Stir in nuts and vanilla.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 325° and bake an additional 50 minutes.
