Ingredients
- 1 c. cooking oil
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. cloves
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 3 1/3 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 (No. 303) can pumpkin
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Cream oil and sugar.
- Add spices, eggs and vanilla; mix.
- Add flour, baking powder and soda; mix.
- Add pumpkin; mix.
- Add nuts; mix.
- Pour into 3 greased and floured coffee cans.
- Fill half full.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
- Remove from cans when cool. Slice and serve.
