Ingredients

  • 1 large Octopus
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper flake
  • 2 lemons

Method

  • Put octopus in pot of boiling water for 20 minutes...shut off flame & let sit in pot for 20 minutes ...then remove from pot.
  • cut off legs as close to body as possible
  • rub off as much skin as possible with hand & rinse under water
  • cut legs into half inch pieces & put into bowl
  • chop up celery & mince garlic & put all ingedients into the bowl
  • sqeeze the juice of the 2 lemons in ...mix well & serve!!
