Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed pretzels
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 (10 oz.) frozen sliced strawberries
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 large or 2 small pkg. strawberry jello

Method

  • Mix together pretzels, butter and 3 tablespoons sugar.
  • Spread in a 9 x 13-inch glass pan.
  • Bake in a 400° oven for 8 minutes. Do not overbake.
  • Cool.
  • Cream together 1 cup sugar and cream cheese.
  • Fold in Cool Whip.
  • Spread over pretzel layer.
