Ingredients
- 2 c. pretzels
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 8 oz. frozen strawberries
- 1 c. sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 2 c. boiling water
Method
- Crush pretzels (not too fine) and mix with sugar and butter. Press into a 9 x 12-inch pan.
- Cook 6 minutes at 400°.
- Cool. Cream 1 cup sugar and cheese, then add Cool Whip.
- Mix well and pour over crust.
- Chill approximately 2 hours.
- Add 1 large strawberry Jell-O mixed with 2 cups boiling water.
- Add frozen strawberries.
- Spread on top of salad; chill.
