Ingredients

  • 2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 cube melted butter or margarine
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 large carton Cool Whip
  • 2 small pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 2 small pkg. frozen strawberries

Method

  • Mix the first 3 ingredients and pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350°.
  • Cool.
  • Cream the cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar and mix in Cool Whip.
  • Spread on cooled crust.
  • Dissolve jello with hot water.
  • Add strawberries and let set until cool. Pour over cream mixture.
  • May use raspberries in place of strawberries.
