Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 12 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. melted butter
- 1 (9 oz.) carton whipped topping
- 2 c. pineapple juice
- 2 2/3 c. pretzels, broken into small pieces
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
- 1 large container frozen strawberries
Method
- Mix cream cheese and sugar; set aside.
- Place pretzels and butter in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
- Spread cream cheese mixture with lukewarm pretzels in bottom of baking dish.
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling pineapple juice; stir in strawberries and allow to thicken to jelled point. Spread over cream cheese and pretzel mixture.
- When set, spread the whipped topping on.
