Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 package (1.25 Ounces) Taco Seasoning
  • 1 can (12 Ounces) Black Beans
  • 1 can (12 Ounces) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 can (12 Ounces) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cans (Half Of A 12 Ounce Can) Corn
  • 1/2 cups Salsa
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 3 pinches Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • Optional Garnishes: Crumbled Tortilla Chips, Freshly Grated Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream And Freshly Chopped Chives

Method

  • Start off by browning the ground beef in a pot over medium heat. Once it is brown, drain it if necessary, then place the meat back in the pot and add the taco seasoning. Let this cook together for a few minutes then add your black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, corn, salsa, and water. For the water, put the 1/2 cup into your tomato sauce can and swish it around, so you can get all the flavor possible. Let this mixture come to a simmer. Add the red pepper flakes, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Let this simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
  • To make this dish even more delicious, top your bowl of soup with crumbled tortilla chips, freshly grated cheddar cheese, sour cream and freshly chopped chives.
  • ENJOY!!
