Ingredients

  • 1 c. crushed pretzels
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple (save juice)
  • 6 oz. Cool Whip
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Method

  • Mix together first 3 ingredients and press into a glass dish 8 x 8 x 2-inches.
  • Bake 10 minutes at 325°.
  • Cream the cream cheese, sugar, crushed pineapple and Cool Whip; set aside.
  • Take pineapple juice and cornstarch; cook until thick.
  • Spread on top of crust and then spread cream cheese mixture on top of second layer.
