Ingredients

  • 1 c. soft butter or margarine (2 sticks)
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. flavoring (almond or vanilla)
  • 2 1/2 c. flour, sifted

Method

  • Mix thoroughly the first 4 ingredients.
  • Then work in the sifted flour.
  • Add additional flour, if needed, to make dough stiff enough to go through cookie press.
  • Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 400° for 7 to 10 minutes, just until cookie dough is set but not browned.
  • Remove on cookie rack.
  • Store in closed container.
