- 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 2 c. sharp cheese, grated
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 2 c. fresh buttered bread crumbs
Method
- Defrost potatoes and combine in large bowl with butter.
- Add rest of ingredients except bread crumbs.
- Put in 3-quart buttered casserole.
- Top with crumbs.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
- Serves 12 to 14.
