Ingredients
- 2 c chopped onion
- 1/4 c. butter
- 7 to 8 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 cans condensed chicken broth
- 2 cans water
- 1 pkg. Polska kielbasa, chopped
- 2 c. milk
Method
- In a large cooking pan, saute onions in butter until onion is tender.
- Add potatoes, chicken broth and water.
- Bring to a boil. Cook until tender.
- Remove from heat.
- Puree half of mixture in blender or with mixer.
- Return to saucepan.
- In skillet, brown the sausage.
- Drain.
- Add sausage and milk to soup.
- Cook over low heat until sausage is heated thoroughly.
