Ingredients

  • 2 c chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 7 to 8 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cans condensed chicken broth
  • 2 cans water
  • 1 pkg. Polska kielbasa, chopped
  • 2 c. milk

Method

  • In a large cooking pan, saute onions in butter until onion is tender.
  • Add potatoes, chicken broth and water.
  • Bring to a boil. Cook until tender.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Puree half of mixture in blender or with mixer.
  • Return to saucepan.
  • In skillet, brown the sausage.
  • Drain.
  • Add sausage and milk to soup.
  • Cook over low heat until sausage is heated thoroughly.
