Ingredients
- 2 (10 oz.) bags frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. cream chicken soup
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. crushed cornflakes, mixed with 1/2 c. melted butter
Method
- Defrost potatoes and combine with melted margarine.
- Add remaining ingredients, except the cornflakes.
- Blend thoroughly; pour into greased 8 x 12-inch casserole dish.
- Cover with buttered cornflakes mix.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
- You can make ahead of time, but add topping when ready to bake.
