Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Put in large airtight bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Roll out to 1/8-inch thickness on floured surface.
- Use cookie cutters.
- Bake at 350° until golden brown. May use icing and sprinkles when cooled.
