Ingredients
- 2 lb. fresh pork
- 4 to 6 onions, chopped
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 1/2 c. soup stock
- 6 large or 12 small potatoes, peeled, cut and parboiled
- flour (for dusting)
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Cut meat into large cubes, well trimmed.
- Put meat, onions and seasonings in heavy casserole and simmer, tightly covered, turning occasionally until meat browns.
- Dust with flour.
- Add soup stock, tomato puree and the parboiled potatoes.
- Cover and continue to simmer until meat and potatoes are done.
- Serves 6.
