Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds pork front of, round pounded and cut into batonnets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro stems
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 cup corn starch
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper ground
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoons ginger minced
  • 2 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

Method

  • 1. Soak pork batonnets in marinade for 1 hour. Remove and Drain
  • 2. Drop batonnets into cornstarch dredge and let sit for 10 minutes
  • 3. Fry batonnets at 350 degrees F for 90 seconds
  • 4. Garnish with Black Sesame seeds and serve with Black Pepper Sauce
  • 1. Combine ingredients and mix well
  • 1. Combine ingredients and bring to a boil in medium saucepan
  • 2. Reduce until thick nappe is achieved
  • 3. Cool to room temperature
