Ingredients

  • 6 or 8 pork chops
  • potatoes (enough to serve 4 people)
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • onion (optional)

Method

  • In oblong Pyrex dish, approximately 9 x 12-inches, slice in small pieces, enough potatoes to layer the bottom of dish or enough to feed 4 people.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour in enough milk to keep potatoes from sticking (about 1/2 cup).
  • Dice Velveeta cheese (about 1/2 pound) on top of potatoes..
  • Lay pork chops on top of potatoes.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until chops are good and brown.
  • Onions can be sliced in potatoes, if desired.
