Ingredients
- 4 lb. beef roast (tip or rolled rump)
- 5 c. water
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 pkg. dry onion mix
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 large onions, sliced
Method
- Combine in slow cooker and cook 10 hours (or in Dutch oven in 325° oven for 3 hours).
- Let set for 20 minutes, then thinly slice.
- Make sandwiches on buttered French or hard rolls.
- Top with Swiss cheese, if desired.
- Serve with bowls of broth for dipping.
