Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 egg whites
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts
Method
- Cook the sugar, syrup and water in a large bowl in microwave on High 12 minutes and 15 seconds. While this is cooking, beat your egg whites until stiff.
- Pour this over your beaten egg whites and beat until stiff.
- The trick is beat long enough before taking the beaters out.
- Then fold in with a wooden spoon the vanilla and nuts.
- Drop with teaspoon on waxed paper.
