Ingredients
- 6 to 8 pork chops
- 1 pkg. Lipton's onion soup mix
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 jar mushrooms
- 1 jar pimento (optional)
Method
- Brown pork chops.
- Spread rice over the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Reserve 2 teaspoons onion soup mix and sprinkle the rest over the rice.
- Reserve mushroom liquid and spread mushrooms over the rice.
- Add pimentos.
- Add enough water to mushroom liquid to total 3 cups.
- Pour over rice mixture. Place pork chops on top of rice, then sprinkle with remaining soup mix. Cover with tinfoil.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on thickness of pork chops.
