Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. poppy seed
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Cream butter.
- Gradually add sugar; beat well with electric mixer.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
- Add sour cream and vanilla.
- Combine flour, soda, salt and poppy seed; add to creamed mixture.
- Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full.
- Bake at 400° for 20 minutes, or until golden.
- Remove from pans immediately.
