Ingredients
- 3 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. dark molasses
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Mix molasses, sugar, water, vinegar and butter.
- Cook over medium heat in cast iron skillet until it cracks in cold water. Add soda and stir for a minute.
- Pour mixture over popped corn and allow to stand until cool.
- In palm of hands (with butter on them) press together into balls.
