Ingredients
- 3-4 apples
- 2 tbsp. cinnamon imperials
- 2 tbsp. minute tapioca
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 3 egg whites
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. minced pecans
- 5 c. popped popcorn
Method
- Peel and core apples.
- Chop in small pcs.
- Make applesauce (about 1 c. water) adding cinnamon candies and tapioca.
- Cook till thick; cold.
- Beat egg whites.
- When stiff, add in sugar.
- Blend in popcorn and nuts.
- Spread in buttered pie pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
- Whip cream and fold into applesauce.
- Pour onto cooled crust.
- Chill.
