Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. Polish sausage, sliced 1/2 inch thick
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/2 lb. shredded cabbage
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk
Method
- Cook flour and milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Layer alternately the potatoes, onion and cabbage in a casserole dish.
- Add sauce, 1/3 after each 3 ingredients layered.
- Cover with foil, plastic or glass.
- Cook in oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350° or in microwave for 35 minutes on Medium-high.
- If using microwave, only add 1 1/2 cups of milk to sauce to cut out any boilover.
