Ingredients
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Spread pie filing in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Add layer of pineapple; sprinkle cake mix on pineapple.
- Cut butter into thin slices and place on cake mix.
- Sprinkle with coconut, then nuts. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Yields 16 servings.
