Ingredients
- 6 c. self-rising flour
- 3 sticks oleo
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Method
- Melt oleo.
- Beat eggs.
- Add sugar, then add cooled, melted oleo.
- Gradually add flour until very stiff dough.
- Pinch dough the size of English walnuts and place on greased cookie sheet. Take a bowl of sugar and dip a round potato masher in it, then mash dough balls nearly flat.
- Bake at 375° until slightly browned.
- Makes 6 to 9 dozen.
