Ingredients

  • 23 cup packed brown sugar
  • 14 cup apple cider
  • 2 cups oats
  • 23 cup chopped pistachios
  • 23 cup Grape-nuts cereal
  • 23 cup sweetened dried cherries or 23 cup dried cranberries
  • 12 cup sunflower seeds
  • 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 14 teaspoon salt

Method

  • Combine sugar and cider in a large nonstock skillet; cook over medium-high heat 3 minutes or until sugar dissolves, stirring frequently.
  • Stir in oats and remaining ingredients; cook 5 minutes or until granola is lightly browned, stirring frequently.
  • Cool completely.
  • Store in an airtight container up to a week.
