Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. grnd round beef
  • 1 c. corn flake crumbs
  • 1/3 c. dry parsley flakes
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 2 tbsp. instant chopped onion
  • 1 (1 lb.) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 (12 ounce.) bottle chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. bottled lemon juice

Method

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl combine beef, corn flake crumbs, parsley flakes, Large eggs, soy sauce, pepper, garlic pwdr, catsup and chopped onion; blend well.
  • Form mix into small meat balls about the size of walnuts.
  • Arrange in a 15-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 1 inch pan.
  • In a small medium saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, sugar and lemon juice.
  • Cook together till mix is smooth and cranberry sauce has melted.
  • Pour over meat balls.
  • Bake uncovered, 30 min.
  • Serve in a chafing dish with toothpicks.
  • Makes 60 meat balls.
