Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. almond flavor
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. cream
  • red food coloring
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Method

  • Cream margarine and sugar; add extract.
  • Add flour and mix; add rolled oats.
  • Using 1 teaspoon, shape into oblong 2 1/2-inches long (finger shaped) cookies.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 minutes at 325°.
