Ingredients

  • 1 large box black cherry Jell-O
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 large Cool Whip
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries

Method

  • Take 2 cups of water and juice from pineapple; bring to a boil. Add Jell-O and dissolve.
  • Add the other ingredients and fold in. Save enough whipped cream to spread over top, then sprinkle a few nuts over top.
  • Put into baking dish or pan and chill.
  • Cut into squares or put in custard cup; top with a teaspoon of whipped cream and nuts.
