Ingredients

  • 1 white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. coconut

Method

  • Prepare cake as directed except use only 1/2 of water and use the rest with pineapple juice.
  • Take drained pineapple, brown sugar, cinnamon and coconut.
  • Mix together.
  • Spread into pan and add chopped cherries.
  • Pour on cake mix and bake.
  • Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
