Ingredients
- 1 white or yellow cake mix
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1 small jar maraschino cherries
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. coconut
Method
- Prepare cake as directed except use only 1/2 of water and use the rest with pineapple juice.
- Take drained pineapple, brown sugar, cinnamon and coconut.
- Mix together.
- Spread into pan and add chopped cherries.
- Pour on cake mix and bake.
- Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
