Ingredients
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 large Cool Whip
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 envelope Knox gelatine
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 10 to 12 maraschino cherries, chopped fine (optional)
Method
- Heat pineapple and sugar; bring to a boil.
- Dissolve gelatine in 1/2 cup cold water.
- Add slowly to mixture.
- Add cream cheese. Stir in until it is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Fold in Cool Whip and maraschino cherries.
- Pour into a mold and refrigerate until set for several hours.
