Ingredients

  • 1 loaf sandwich bread
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3/4 stick margarine, melted

Method

  • Trim crusts from bread and flatten bread with rolling pin. Cream sugar and cream cheese together.
  • Add egg yolk, vanilla and pineapple.
  • Spread mixture thinly on bread.
  • Roll up and cut rolls in halves or thirds.
  • Brush with melted butter and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.
  • Lift off cookie sheet and cool.
  • Don't eat hot, they will burn your mouth!!!!
