Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. sooji

Method

  • Drain the canned pineapple in a colander for about 45 minutes.
  • Melt 1/2 the stick of butter and add 1 tsp. sooji.
  • Stir this continuously until aroma arises.
  • Then add pineapple.
  • Keep stirring for 10-15 minutes.
  • When it becomes sticky, add condensed milk and keep stirring until the milk forms lumps.
  • Add the remaining 1/2 stick of butter.
  • Keep stirring until golden in color, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Decorate with almonds or pistachios if desired.
