Ingredients
- 1 can (15.25 oz.) DOLE Pineapple Sea Creatures or Cosmic Fun Shapes, undrained
- ice cubes
- 1-1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 pkg. (8-serving size) JELL-O Cherry Flavor Gelatin
- 1 tub COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
Method
- Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
- Add ice to juice to make 2 cups.
- Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
- Add juice and ice; stir until ice is melted.
- Pour 2-1/2 cups of gelatin into medium bowl.
- Stir in pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup of the pineapple for garnish.
- Reserve mixture at room temperature.
- Meanwhile, stir 1/2 of the whipped topping into remaining gelatin with wire whisk until well blended.
- Divide among 10 dessert dishes.
- Refrigerate 10 minutes or until set but not firm (sticks to finger when touched).
- Pour gelatin-pineapple mixture over gelatin in dessert dishes.
- Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
- Top with remaining whipped topping and reserved pineapple.
