Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. crescent rolls
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3/4 tsp. diced whole oregano
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • pepper slices (optional)

Method

  • Cook sausage until brown; drain.
  • Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles with elongated points toward center of a greased 12-inch pizza pan or pie dish.
  • Press bottom and sides to form crust; seal perforations.
  • Bake at 375° for 5 minutes on lower oven rack.
  • Crust will be puffy when removed from oven.
  • Reduce oven to 350°.
  • Spoon sausage over dough.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Combine eggs with next 3 ingredients; pour over sausage.
  • Bake at 350° on lower rack for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Garnish with pepper slices, if desired.
  • Makes 6 to 8 servings.
