Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. crescent rolls
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. diced whole oregano
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- pepper slices (optional)
Method
- Cook sausage until brown; drain.
- Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles with elongated points toward center of a greased 12-inch pizza pan or pie dish.
- Press bottom and sides to form crust; seal perforations.
- Bake at 375° for 5 minutes on lower oven rack.
- Crust will be puffy when removed from oven.
- Reduce oven to 350°.
- Spoon sausage over dough.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Combine eggs with next 3 ingredients; pour over sausage.
- Bake at 350° on lower rack for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Garnish with pepper slices, if desired.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
