Ingredients
- 5 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Method
- Mix flour and salt and cut in Crisco as for pie dough.
- Beat egg in cup; add enough water to make 1 cup of liquid, also add vinegar to cup.
- Then add egg to flour mixture.
- Dough will be soft and sticky.
- Make 4 or 5 balls and put in freezer to use as needed or can be used immediately.
- Chill for 20 to 25 minutes, then roll out and bake.
