Ingredients

  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. potato chips, slightly crushed
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped

Method

  • Cream together sugar, margarine and Crisco.
  • Add brown and white sugar; mix well.
  • Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  • Sift together flour, salt and soda.
  • Add potato chips and nuts.
  • Mix all together.
  • Drop by spoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Let cool.
  • Store in tight can.
