Ingredients
- 2 c. persimmons
- 2 c. raisins
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. cloves, ground
- 1 c. milk
Method
- Mash persimmons.
- Mix nuts, raisins, persimmon pulp, sugar and oil.
- Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with milk to first mixture.
- Bake in a preheated 325° oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes in a greased 10-inch tube pan.
