Ingredients

  • 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. dairy sour cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • Chocolate Crumb Crust (recipe follows)

Method

  • Heat oven to 450°.
  • In a large mixer bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, cocoa, sour cream and vanilla; beat on medium speed of electric mixer until smooth.
  • Add flour and eggs; beat well. Pour into Chocolate Crumb Crust.
  • Bake 10 minutes.
  • Without opening oven, reduce temperature to 250°; continue baking 30 minutes (cheesecake may not appear set in middle).
  • Turn off oven; leave cheesecake in oven for 30 minutes without opening door. Remove from oven.
  • With knife, loose cake from side of pan.
  • Cool to room temperature.
  • Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
