Ingredients
- 12 red bell peppers
- 12 green bell peppers
- 6 large onions
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 6 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. salt
Method
- Put peppers and onions through grinder and coarsely grind. Do not save the juice.
- Pour boiling water over this mixture and let stand for 3 minutes and drain.
- Repeat this one more time. Add to the vinegar, sugar and salt and boil exactly 15 minutes. Wonderful as an accompaniment for fish, chicken, beef, etc.
