Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped jalapenos
- 1 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
- 6 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 2 drops yellow food color
- 1 pouch Certo
Method
- Boil for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add Certo.
- Boil hard for 1 minute.
- Ladle into hot jars and seal.
- Immediately invert jars for 5 minutes, then turn up right (helps to seal). About 1 hour later, shake jars to mix peppers before completely set.
- Great with cream cheese and crackers.
- Yields about 6 to 8 half-pints.
