Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 3/4 cup Karo syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 T melted butter
- 1 tsp vanillla
- 2 cups pecans chopped (reserve some whole to put around edge of pie)
Method
- Beat eggs; mix in sugar, syrup, salt, butter and vanilla. Place chopped pecans in pie shell. Pour remaining ingredients over pecans. Around edge of pie line whole pecans
- Bake at 400 for 10 mind. Reduce heat to 325 and bake an additional 25-30 minutes.
