Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. oleo, melted
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell

Method

  • Melt oleo, set aside to cool slightly.
  • Mix together, eggs, syrup, salt, sugar and vanilla.
  • Add cooled oleo.
  • Mix flour with pecans.
  • Add to first mixture.
  • Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • Bake at 375° about 40 to 50 minutes until set.
  • The center will be slightly soft.
