Ingredients
- 1/3 c. oleo, melted
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Method
- Melt oleo, set aside to cool slightly.
- Mix together, eggs, syrup, salt, sugar and vanilla.
- Add cooled oleo.
- Mix flour with pecans.
- Add to first mixture.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake at 375° about 40 to 50 minutes until set.
- The center will be slightly soft.
