Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/3 c. coconut, flaked
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Blend Crisco and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Add 1 cup flour and salt.
- Stir in milk.
- Pat evenly in 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Bake at 325° for about 20 minutes or until brown.
