Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 (20 oz.) can sliced or tidbit pineapple
- walnut halves
- maraschino cherries
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix with pudding
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Melt margarine in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar and arrange pineapple, cherries and walnuts over the margarine.
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
- Pour batter into pan.
- Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in center, 45 to 55 minutes.
- Immediately invert pan on heatproof serving plate.
- Cool completely.
- Top with Cool Whip.
